Training
Schools can no longer afford to send untrained Substitutes into the classroom. The wrong response, the wrong decision, means long days and nights for School Administrators. Substitutes who learn by trial-and-error in your classrooms, mean high risk to your district.
Schools require a professionally dressed substitute to arrive early, complete the lesson plan, leave notes to the teacher and the classrooms left in order. These skills do not automatically come with a Substitute Certificate, they must be taught to be learned.
Source4teachers’ training defines the true role of a Substitute Teacher. It also encompasses teaching strategies, classroom management and guidelines for decision making. Source4Teachers is now providing grade-level specific training. Substitutes will be required to attend High School specific training to be qualified to work in your High School and the same for Elementary. These programs have been developed as a result of our extensive experiences of leading the industry in Substitute Teacher placement in suburban, urban and alternative classrooms.
Your district will benefit from:
- Effective Classroom Management
- Continuity of Education
- Reduction of Classroom Incidents
- Increased Safety
- Decreased student, staff and parental complaints
- Improved Substitute Teacher Retention
