What is Source4Teachers?

Source4Teachers is a comprehensive substitute teacher staffing company designed to be the leader in the field of recruiting, training, and placing qualified substitute teachers for school districts in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Being an employee of Source4Teachers allows you to be employed by one facility rather than a number of school districts.

What are the requirements to become a substitute teacher?

  • Current Substitute Teacher or Teaching Certification issued by the state
    *If you are not currently certified, but are interested in obtaining your substitute certification, Source4Teachers is capable of assisting you with this process!
  • Criminal History Background Check
  • Tuberculosis Test (taken within 6 months of initial employment)
  • Successful completion of Source4Teachers Orientation/Training Class

How long does the process take of becoming an employee of Source4Teachers?

The process to become a certified professional substitute employee for Source4Teachers may vary. If you currently hold valid credentials (mentioned above) the process generally takes 2-4 weeks. If you do not, the process may take up to 4-8 weeks.

Where will I be working?

You may select where you wish to work from over 60 of our partnering school districts in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

How do I get paid?

You would be paid directly through Source4Teachers. All pay rates are set by the district and may vary by assignment. Source4Teachers pay on the 15th and the last business day of each month with the convienent payment method of direct deposit.
