What is Source4Teachers?
Source4Teachers is a comprehensive substitute teacher staffing company designed to be the leader in the field of recruiting, training, and placing qualified substitute teachers for school systems in New Jersey. Being an employee of Source4Teachers allows you to be employed by one facility rather than a number of school systems.
What are the requirements to become a substitute teacher?
- Current Substitute Teacher or Teaching Certification issued by the State of New Jersey.
*If you are not currently certified, but are interested in obtaining your
substitute certification, Source4Teachers is capable of assisting you with this process!
- NJ Criminal History Background Check
- Tuberculosis Test (taken within 6 months of initial employment)
- Successful completion of Source4Teachers Orientation/Training Class
How long does the process of becoming an employee of Source4Teachers take?
The process to become a certified professional substitute employee for Source4Teachers may vary.
If you currently hold valid credentials (mentioned above) the process generally takes 3-8 weeks.
If you do not, the process may take up to 8-12 weeks.

You may select where you wish to work from over 60 of our partnering school districts in the State of NJ!
How do I get paid?
You would be paid directly through Source4Teachers convenient method of direct deposit. Rates are set by the district and may vary. Pay dates are the 15th and the last business day of each month.
